Buster K. Gordy, HPROA member passed away Tuesday, November 05, 2013. Sergeant Gordy joined the Department January 7, 1952 as a member of Academy Class #8. Prior to joining the Department as a Police Trainee, he was a Junior Clerk with the Department’s Bureau of Identification. He retired November 28, 1975.

Visitation for family and friends will be Wednesday, November 6th from 5:00 until 9:00 p.m. in the Hixon Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral Services will be Thursday, November 7, 2013, starting at 10:00 a.m. at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Holly Grove Cemetery in Anacoco, Louisiana.
