Adolph C. Alonzo, A member of the HPROA, passed away Monday, October 13, 2014. Sergeant Alonzo joined the Department August 23, 1971 as a member of Academy Class #51. During his career he served in the Jail, Northeast, Narcotics, Southwest, Homicide, Internal Affairs, and Burglary and Theft Divisions, retiring from the Department January 20, 2001. He is preceded in death by his wife, Retired Sergeant Bonnie J. Alonzo.

A Memorial Service will be held within the Main Chapel of Eckols Funeral Home, 420 West Live Oak Street, Kenedy, Texas 78119 (830) 583-2533, on Saturday, October 18, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. The family will receive guests prior to the start of the service.
