Jerald D. Liles A member of the HPROA 
, passed away on Saturday, June 3, 2017, at the age of 85. He is survived by his wife of almost 51 years, Carolyn “Carrie” Liles. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran. He joined the Houston Police Department on November 16, 1953, Academy Class #10. During his career with the Department, he was assigned to the Patrol Bureau, Accident Division, Motorcycle Division, Special Services Bureau, Inspections Command, and the Office of the Chief of Police. Detective Liles retired on February 15, 1978.

A visitation will be held before the Funeral Service at Doeppenschmidt Funeral Home on Saturday, June 10, 2017, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The Funeral Service will start at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Hill Country Memorial Gardens, 11700 Texas Highway 46, New Braunfels, Texas 78132 (830) 904-7401.
