Aubrey Wade Sanford, a member of the HPROA passed away on Friday, January 3, 2020, at the age of 64. He is survived by his wife Terry Sanford. He started his law enforcement career with the City of Houston Airport Police on April 16, 1981. He joined the Houston Police Department on November 20, 1992, when the Airport Police merged with the Houston Police Department. During his career with the department, he was assigned to the Emergency Communications Division and the Airport Hobby Division. Sergeant Sanford retired on May 20, 2016.

Funeral Services will be held at Brookside Funeral Home on Friday, January 10, 2020, starting at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Brookside Memorial Park, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039 (281) 449-6511.
