Gary L. Crawford,  Senior Police Officer, passed away on Monday, March 25, 2019, at the age of 55. He is survived by his wife, Sergeant Jodie L. Crawford assigned to the Central Division and his brother, retired Senior Police Officer Dale S. Crawford who was last assigned to the Narcotics Division until his retirement on February 28, 2019. Officer Crawford joined the Houston Police Department on August 25, 1997, Academy Class #171. During his career, he was assigned to the Northeast Division, Special Operations Division, Kingwood Division, Tactical Operations Division and the Air and Marine Division.
