Aranthan Jones, Retired Senior Police Officer, passed away on Tuesday, October 23, 2018, at the age of 63. Officer Jones joined the Houston Police Department on August 9, 1982, Academy Class #107 and was also a Veteran of the United States Army. During his career, he was assigned to the Southwest Division, North Division, Central Division and Gang Division until his retirement on February 28, 2015.
