Retired Senior Police Officer Jerry Flores passed away on Thursday, October 1, 2020, at the age of 56. He joined the Houston Police Department on November 12, 1991, Academy Class #146. During his tenure with the department, he was assigned to the Southeast, Central, and Gang Divisions. Senior Police Officer Flores retired on September 5, 2019.

A Funeral Mass will be held at Saint Ignatius of Loyola Catholic Church, 7810 Cypresswood Drive, Spring, Texas 77379 (281) 370-3401, on Wednesday, October 7, 2020, starting at 11:00 a.m. Due to COVID-19 social distancing guidelines, seating will be limited. Burial will follow at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery, 13102 North Freeway, Houston, Texas 77060 (281) 443-0063.
