Retired Police Officer and HPROA Member Kenneth R Brumley passed away on Wednesday, December 16, 2020, at the age of 79. He is preceded in death by his wife, Retired Senior Clerk Mary “Sally” Brumley. He joined the Houston Police Department on December 28, 1962, Academy Class #27. As an officer, he was assigned to the Central, Emergency Communications, Personnel, and Employment Services Divisions. He retired as a police officer on September 4, 1990. Kenneth Brumley re-joined the department on September 5, 1990, as a Personnel Assistant. During this period, he was assigned to Employment Services Division, Civilian Employment, and Records Division. Brumley retired as a Human Resources Specialist on January 1, 2005.

Graveside Services will be held on Wednesday, December 23, 2020, starting at 2:00 p.m. at Hansford Cemetery, 9979 Texas Highway 15, Spearman, Texas 79801.
