Retired Police Officer Philip H Bankston passed away on Wednesday, January 6, 2021, at the age of 73. He is survived by his wife Kathy Bankston. He joined the Houston Police Department on August 28, 1967, Academy Class #36. During his tenure with the department, he was assigned to the Traffic Enforcement, Narcotics, Central, and Training Divisions. Police Officer Bankston retired on January 4, 1989.
