Cecil "Red" Easley

Cecil Edward “Red” Easley, Jr. 94, A member of the HPROA, passed away on Thursday, April 21, 2016.  Officer Easley was a World War II Veteran, where he was captured, and a prisoner of War for 2 years and 10 months.  He joined the department on March 18, 1945, and was the oldest HPD retiree.  He is survived by his daughter, Sandy Pearson.

The body is entrusted with Settegast-Kopf Funeral Home at Sugarcreek, 15015 Southwest Freeway, Sugar Land, Texas 77478, telephone number (281) 565-5015.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, April 27, 2016, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Funeral services will be held within the Main Chapel of Settegast-Kopf at Sugar Creek on Thursday, April 28, 2016, at 12:00 noon.

Burial will follow at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, Texas 77038.
