I am looking for someone who might still have a copy of the "Welcome to Houston" poster showing several officers in riot gear facing away from the camera. It was published in the early 80's after some type of potential unrest downtown. I had a copy for many years but it eventually got discarded in moving. If someone has the poster I would appreciate them sending me a high resolution image of it.

Thanks

ON NOVEMBER 10 I WENT TO THE DPS OFFICE ON DACOMA AT 5PM MY APPOINTMENT TIME. I APPROACHED THE CLERKS AND WAS ADVISED TO PRESENT MY DRIVERS LICENSE, AND EITHER A BIRTH CERTIFICATE, OR PASSPORT. I HAVE NEVER SEEN MY BIRTH CERTIFICATE SINCE I WENT INTO THE MARINES IN 1969. I THEN SAID THIS SHOULD PROVE I AM A CITIZEN AND I SHOWED MY POLICE RETIRED IDENTIFICATION. THE CLERK WHO SEEMED TO ENJOY DENYING ME SAID THATS NOT GOOD ENOUGH. I STARTED TO GET REAL UPSET SO I DECIDED TO LEAVE BEFORE I STARTED SOMETHING AND GET MYSELF IN TROUBLE. I AM WRITING THIS LETTER TO PREPARE OTHER OFFICERS. I BELIEVE THIS WAS PREJUDICE TOWARDS POLICE OFFICERS, AND I FILED A COMPLAINT WITH THE ATTORNEY GENERAL OF TEXAS WITH NO RESPONSE. I THINK THE CLERK NEEDS TO CHECK ON REQUIREMENTS FOR CITIZENSHIP.

THANK YOU
