Willie Ray Harrison: A member of the HPROA passed away Monday, December 3, 2012. Officer Harrison joined the Department August 26, 1968 as a member of Academy Class 39. He had been assigned to the Traffic Bureau, Jail Division and lastly, Northeast Patrol when he retired from the Department, October 10, 2000. Officer Harrison is a Vietnam Veteran who earned both the Purple Heart and the Bronze Star.

Visitation for family and friends will be Monday, December 10th from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Howard-Glendale Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be Tuesday, December 11, 2012 starting at 9:15 a.m. at the Funeral Home.
Burial will be at 11:15 a.m. at Houston National Cemetery 10410 Veterans Memorial Cemetery Houston, Texas 77038.
