John Eaton, A member of the HPROA passed away on Wednesday, January 11, 2017, at the age of 77. He is survived by his wife, Linda Eaton. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army. He joined the Houston Police Department on November 12, 1963, Academy Class #29. During his career with the Houston Police Department he was assigned to the Traffic and Accident Division, Southeast Division, Major Offenders Division, and the Burglary and Theft Division. Sgt. Eaton retired on March 17, 1984.
