Jerry T. Carr, A member of the HPROA, passed away on Sunday, January 22, 2017, at the age of 76. He is survived by his wife, Jeanette Carr. He joined the Houston Police Department on August 21, 1972, Academy Class #56. During his career with the Houston Police Department, Senior Police Officer Carr was assigned to the Central Division, Northeast Division, Vice Division, Narcotics Division and Auto Theft Division, retiring on April 24, 2004.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2017, starting at 2:00 p.m. at Hardin United Methodist Church, 1005 FM 834 West, Liberty, Texas 77575 (936) 298-2342.
