Steve Hendricks, A member of the HPROA, passed away on Monday, April 30, 2018, at the age of 74. He is survived by his wife Penny C. Hendricks. He joined the Houston Police Department on December 27, 1966, Academy Class #34. During his career with the department, Officer Hendricks was assigned to the Central, Juvenile, Personnel, Emergency Communications, Facilities Operations, Crime Analysis, Property, and Community Services Divisions. Police Officer Hendricks retired on May 28, 1991.
