Robert H. Warkentin, Retired Assistant Chemist – Toxicologist passed away on Saturday, January 11, 2020, at the age of 75. He is preceded in death by his wife, Gwendolyn L. Warkentin, who passed away on August 29, 2019. He joined the Houston Police Department on January 28, 1965. During his career with the department, he was assigned to the Crime Lab, until his retirement on July 5, 1989.

A visitation will be held before the Funeral Service at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home, on Thursday, January 23, 2020, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. The Funeral Service will start at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery, 12800 Westheimer Road, Houston, Texas 77077 (281) 497-2330.
