Willie E. Branch Jr. Retired Sergeant. passed away on Sunday, March 10, 2019, at the age ,of 81. He is survived by his wife, Joyce A. Branch. Sergeant Branch joined the Houston Police Department on June 1, 1959, Academy Class #21. During his career he was assigned to the North Division, Northeast Division, Vice Division, Traffic and Accident Division, Narcotics Division, Crime Analysis Division, Organizational Development Command, Special Operations Division and the Fleet Unit until his retirement on January 26, 1985.
