Gerald F. Brown, Retired Assistant Superintendent,  passed away on Thursday, August 2, 2018, at the age of 80. He is preceded in death by his wife Tokiko Brown. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army. He joined the Houston Police Department on November 9, 1970, as a member of Academy Class BC1. During his career with the department, he was assigned to the Communications Management Division, retiring on March 12, 1994.
