Walter Howard Collier, Retired Police Officer,  passed away on Tuesday, May 22, 2018, at the age of 88. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy Reserve. He joined the Houston Police Department on August 8, 1955, Academy Class #12. During his career with the department, he was assigned to Patrol Bureau, Vice Division, Traffic Statistical Office, and Special Services Bureau, retiring on September 25, 1979.
