Charles E. Roberts a member of the HPROA, passed away on Sunday, November 10, 2019, at the age of 84. He is survived by his wife, Dollie Mae Roberts. He joined the Houston Police Department on October 1, 1956, Academy Class #15. During his career with the department, he was assigned to the Traffic Enforcement, Traffic Safety, and Community Relations Divisions. Police Officer Roberts retired on July 5, 1977.
The body is entrusted with Tyler Memorial Funeral Home, 12053 State Highway 64 West, Tyler, Texas 75704 (903) 597-1396.
