Joe W. Lorentz, Jr. HPROA member, passed away on Tuesday, May 26, 2015. He joined Police Academy Class #82 on June 5, 1978. During his career, he served at the Northwest Division, Jail Division, and the Emergency Communications Division, and retired on March 29, 2014, while last assigned to the Special Operations Division. He is survived by his sister, Susan Lorentz of Spring Branch, Texas.
