Delvin Kendrick A member of the HPROA,
passed away on Thursday, December 21, 2017, at the age of 75. He is survived by his wife Carolyn M. Kendrick. He joined the Houston Police Department on July 17, 1961 as a Clerk Typist I, assigned to the Property Room. On November 12, 1963, he became a Cadet, as a member of Academy Class #29. During his career with the department, he was assigned to the Traffic and Accident, Robbery, Burglary and Theft, Southeast, Employment Services, Civilian Employment, Emergency Communications, Clear Lake, and Eastside Divisions, and the West Patrol Command. Captain Kendrick retired on December 18, 2004, out of the Auto Theft Division.
