John H. Cloyes, A member of the HPROA passed away on Monday, February 19, 2018, at the age of 93. He is survived by his wife Nancy Cloyes. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He joined the Houston Police Department on November 16, 1953, Academy Class #10. During his career with the department, Sergeant Cloyes was assigned to the Patrol Bureau, Juvenile, Burglary and Theft, and Major Offenders Divisions. He retired on August 15, 1989.
