John R. Hake, a member of the HPROA 
, passed away on Friday, June 7, 2019, at the age of 82. He is survived by his wife, Carol A. Hake. He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force. He joined the Houston Police Department on May 30, 1966, Academy Class #33. During his career with the department, he was assigned to the Central, Criminal Intelligence, Vice, and Southwest Divisions. Police Officer Hake retired on March 6, 1992.
