Frank A. Ruffino Jr. Retired Senior Police Officer passed away on Wednesday, March 13, 2019, at the age of 68. He is the cousin of retired Senior Police Officer Carl J. Ruffino who was last assigned to the Burglary and Theft Division until his retirement on January 25, 2003 and Senior Police Officer Anthony H. Ruffino who wasRetired Senior Police Officer last assigned to the Special Operations Division until his retirement on October 3, 2009. Officer Ruffino joined the Houston Police Department on May 23 1977, Academy Class #78 and was also a Veteran of the United States Army. During his career he was assigned to the Northeast Division, Special Operations Division and the Tactical Operations Division until his retirement on March 29, 2014.
