Michael J. Svoboda, Retired Police Officer  passed away on Saturday, January 5, 2019, at the age of 72. He is survived by his wife, Janet Svoboda. Officer Svoboda joined the Houston Police Department on January 13, 1969, Academy Class #40. During his career, he was assigned to the Vice Division, Central Division and Northwest Division until his retirement on June 30, 1989.
