Bobby D. Hamaker, Retired Police Officer, passed away on Monday, December 25, 2017, at the age of 84. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army. He joined the Houston Police Department on September 17, 1962, Academy Class #26. During his career with the department, he was assigned to the Traffic and Accident, Community Services, Personnel, and Jail Divisions. Police Officer Hamaker retired on May 31, 1990.
