Retired Senior Police Officer Oscar Maldonado passed away on Saturday, January 2, 2021, at the age of 57. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Delma Maldonado. He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force. He joined the Houston Police Department on November 11, 1993, as a member of Academy Class #156. During his career with the department, he was assigned to the Northwest and Central Divisions, retiring on January 12, 2019.

Funeral Services will be on Thursday, January 14, 2021, at Peevey Funeral Home beginning at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, Texas 77038 (281) 447-8686. Gate time is 12:30 p.m.
