Retired Police Officer Charles “Jim” Clark passed away on Saturday, January 17, 2021, at the age of 75. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Marie Clark. He was a Veteran of the United States Navy. He joined the Houston Police Department on June 22, 1970, Academy Class #45. During his tenure with the department, he was assigned to the Central, Emergency Communications, Fleet, Southeast and Vice Divisions. Officer Clark retired on October 12, 1990.

A private family graveside service for Officer Charles Clark will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 20, 2021 in the Clark Family Cemetery, 3160 County Road 4020, Crockett, Texas 75835.
