Retired Sergeant and HPROA Member Robert E Tessier passed away on Thursday, January 28, 2021, at the age of 72. He is survived by his wife Martha “Mardy” Tessier. He joined the Houston Police Department on January 8, 1968, Academy Class #37. During his tenure with the department, he was assigned to the Emergency Communications, Northwest, Northeast, Air Support, and North Divisions. Sergeant Tessier retired on July 7, 1988.
