Jack D. Lee, 89, HPROA member, 89, passed away on Thursday, August 29, 2013. He was a
veteran of the United States Army and served in World War II. Sergeant Lee joined
Police Academy Class #5 on September 25, 1950. He served over 35 years and retired on
July 5, 1986. He was last assigned to the Burglary and Theft Division. Sergeant Lee was
preceded in death by his wife, Sheila M. Lee. He is survived by his children, Mark Lee,
Eric Lee, Kelley Roper and Joel Lee.
The family will have a memorial funeral service at the Houston National Cemetery on
Thursday, September 12, 2013, at 11:00 a.m.
