Michael L. Wright, HPROA member, passed away Saturday, November 23, 2013. Officer Wright joined the Department January 9, 1984 as a member of Academy Class #118 and was assigned to Westside, Homicide, and Special Crimes Division. He retired January 5, 2013. The body is entrusted to Forest Park Westheimer, 12800 Westheimer Road, Houston, Texas 77077 (281) 497- 2330. Visitation for family and friends will be Sunday, December 1, 2013 from 2:00 until 5:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 2, 2013 at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Cheetham Cemetery, Sheridan, Texas.
