Eli F. Uresti, HPROA member, passed away Saturday, March 1, 2014. Sergeant Uresti joined the Department October 21, 1963 as a member of Academy Class 29 and was promoted to the rank of Detective, October 13, 1973. During his career he was assigned to Central, Jail, Training Academy, Homicide, Internal Affairs, and Auto Theft and retired February 19, 1988.

The family will hold a private Celebration of Life service at a later date.
