Jack E. Merritt HPROA member, passed away on Sunday, June 15, 2014. Jack was a veteran of the United States Navy. He joined Police Academy Class #45 on June 22, 1970. During his career he served in the Central Division, and the Emergency Communications Division. He retired January 8, 2000 while last assigned to the Southwest Division. Jack is survived by his wife of 47 years, Deanie Merritt.
