Ray L. Collins, HPROA member passed away on Tuesday, February 16, 2016; He joined Police Academy Class #25 on December 9, 1963. During his career, he served at the Central Division, Jail Division, Emergency Communications Division, North Division, Identification Division, Homicide Division, and retired on March 11, 2000 while last assigned to the Airport Division. Ray is the brother of Retired Lieutenant Jack Collins, who retired while last assigned to the Major Offenders Division in 1984. Officer Collins is survived by his wife of 57 years, Mary F. Collins and daughter, Patricia Tilotta.
