Jerry M. Strait HPROA member passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2016, at the age of 66. He is survived by his wife Ginger Strait. He joined the Houston Police Department on November 16, 1970, Academy Class #47. During his career he was assigned to the Northeast Division and the Air Support Division. Senior Police Officer Strait retired on May 8, 2004.

A visitation will be held at Autry Funeral Home on Friday, March 25, 2016, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Funeral Services will start at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Resthaven Cemetery in Jacksonville, Texas 75766.
