John W. Collins a member of the HPROA, passed away on March 25, 2018, at the age of 90. He was preceded in death by his wife Thelma A. Collins. He joined the Houston Police Department on May 21, 1956, Academy Class #14. Police Officer Collins retired on April 5, 1978.
