Emma C. Swatzel, Retired Clerk Typist II, and HPROA member passed away on Sunday, March 3, 2019, at the age of 91. She is preceded in death by her husband, Retired Identification Administrator Kenneth D. Swatzel, who passed away on November 6, 1997. Emma Swatzel joined the Houston Police Department on February 25, 1977. During her career with the department, she was assigned to the Narcotics Division until her retirement on March 3, 1989.

A visitation will be held before the Funeral Service at Cashner Funeral Home, on Wednesday, March 6, 2019, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will start at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Garden Park Cemetery, 801 Teas Road, Conroe, Texas 77303 (936) 756-2126.
