Retired Senior Police Officer Richard V Coleman passed away on Tuesday, October 30, 2020, at the age of 60. He joined the Houston Police Department on January 16, 1986, Academy Class #133. During his tenure with the department, he was assigned to South Central, Emergency Communications, Westside, and Community Services Divisions, Office of Public Affairs, and Criminal Investigations Command. Senior Police Officer Coleman retired on February 6, 2010, out of the Jail Division.
