Retired Police Officer and HPROA Member Robert M Rambie passed away on Monday, November 9, 2020, at the age of 81. He is a Veteran of the United States Army. He joined the Houston Police Department on December 28, 1959, Academy Class #23. During his tenure with the department, he was assigned to the Accident Division, Dispatchers Office, and Traffic Point Control Division. Officer Rambie retired on July 7, 1980.
A visitation will be held at G.W. Cox Memorial Funeral Home on Saturday, November 14, 2020, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. A Graveside Service will follow at the Masonic Cemetery, 110 St. Peter Street, Del Rio, Texas 78840.
