Retired Sergeant Albert R Westfall passed away on Thursday, November 19, 2020, at the age of 76. His wife, Dorothy Westfall survives him. He is a Veteran of the United States Army. He started his law enforcement career when he joined the Houston Police Department on April 20, 1970, Academy Class #44. During his time with the department, he was assigned to the Emergency Communications and Narcotics Divisions. He resigned from the department on February 15, 1972. He joined the City of Houston Marshal on May 1, 1978. He returned to the Houston Police Department with the merger of the City of Houston Marshal on November 20, 1992. Sergeant Westfall retired on March 27, 2004.
The body is entrusted with Pat H. Foley & Company Funeral Home, 1200 West 34th Street, Houston, Texas 77018. A visitation will be held at Pat H. Foley & Company Funeral Home, on Monday, November 30, 2020, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
A Graveside Service will be held at Historic Hollywood Cemetery, 3506 North Main Street, Houston, Texas 77009 (713) 227-5109, on Tuesday, December 1, 2020, starting at 1:00 p.m.
