Retired Senior Police Officer and HPROA Member Daniel D Furstenfeld passed away on Thursday, November 12, 2020, at the age of 68. His wife, Roanne Furstenfeld survives him; he is also the brother of Retired Sergeant Matthew R. Furstenfeld, who retired on March 11, 2017. Senior Police Officer Daniel Furstenfeld joined the Houston Police Department on April 1, 1974, Academy Class #64. During his tenure with the department, he was assigned to the Central, Emergency Communications, and Narcotics Divisions, retiring on March 22, 2008.
