Johnny and Karen Blake (1-23-21 blc) I received word from Kyle, their oldest son, that Johnny and Karen have been in the hospital with COVID 19. Karen has been released but is now having problems with low blood pressure which they attribute to possible low potassium. Johnny is doing about the same. Please keep the Blake family in your prayers and Kyle has asked that there be no phone calls at this time.

UPDATES: January 17, 2021

Bennie Green - Bennie has been on dialysis for over a year and a half. He is in good health otherwise.  He is on the kidney transplant list, however, he wanted to see if anyone knows someone who would be willing to donate a kidney. It doesn't have to be a perfect match as they can "swap" kidneys around. He asks if you can and want to, or know someone that is willing to donate a kidney, please call the Kidney Transplant Section at Methodist Hospital at 713-441-5451. You may also contact livingdonorteam@HoustonMethodist.org. and donate for Bennie L. Green.  To offer Bennie prayers and words of encouragement, you can call him at 713-557-3116.

Wayne Wendel - Nothing has basically changed in Wayne’s condition. He is still holding his own, on a ventilator and sedated. The doctors are cautiously optimistic. The family is still not receiving any emails, texts or phone calls at this time; however, they are very grateful for all of your continued prayers.

Doug Bostock - Doug seems to be improving a little. His speech is getting better and they have started therapy more aggressively on his leg. Please continue to pray for a complete and speedy recovery.

Fred Eichholtz - Judy said Fred is under Hospice care. Until he gets stronger so she can take care of him and his needs, he will be at a Residential Care Center in Katy.  Our prayers are with Fred and the Eichholtz family.

Doug Bostock (1-11-21 blc) had minor stroke and was admitted to Willowbrook Methodist Hospital Friday, January 9, 2021. Doug and his wife, Mae, have both asked that we keep them in our prayers as they determine the cause of his stroke and what the treatment will be.  Please no phone calls at this time as they are both overwhelmed and that Doug is somewhat confused at times.
